Workshop Description
To increase the awareness of leadership, management and communications styles used by successful project managers to lead project teams.
- Leadership and Management styles used by project managers.
- Task and People focussed management – when and how to use each style effectively.
- How to identify team member’s strengths and weakness; and improve the performance of project teams.
- Identifying your own personal leadership style and how that interacts with other team members using simple psychometric assessments.
- Using proven project management techniques to manage people effectively.
- Improving personal communications to facilitate the effective and efficient passage of information within project teams
- Using techniques drawn from Edward de Bono ‘Six Thinking Hats ©’ to improve project meetings

This event is suitable for Project / Programme Managers wishing to develop their leadership and management style within the context of running projects
Delegates will learn to:
- Understand the non-technical roles and responsibilities of being a project manager.
- Gain an understanding of the leadership and management styles that can be utilised by project managers.
- Introduce tools for improving communications with individuals and within project teams to enable high performing teams to be developed.
- Introduce motivational theories and explore how these theories work can be applied on a practical level within project management.
- Introduce simple techniques that project managers can apply to enable improved working with their clients.

Workshop Cost
- This workshop costs £1400 for an in house delivery with a maximum of 12 delegates for two days
- This workshop costs £175 per delegate when booked on an open course. Maximum number on open course is 10 delegates.
