Becoming a Better Manager
Workshop Description
This is a 2-day Transformational Workshop designed to give supervisors and first line team leaders the skills required to manage a group of people for the first time. The workshop is a highly interactive and is run using experiential and transformational learning techniques.
This gives the delegates a safe environment in which to learn and practise the skills and knowledge safely.

- Developing Emotional Awareness
- Daniel Goleman has indicated that Emotional Intelligence is a major contributing factor in the success of leaders and managers at all levels.
- Communications skills
- This section will concentrate on Transactional Analysis as developed by Eric Berne
- Fundamental principles of leadership
- Leading by example
- Overcoming negative attitudes, under performance and de-motivation
- Developing your self to achieve continual professional development… what are the next steps?
Who should attend
Any one moving into or already in a first line leadership role (Team supervisors, Team leaders, Team managers etc)

This is a two-day workshop.
Workshop Cost
- This workshop costs £1400 for an in house delivery with a maximum of 12 delegates for two days
- This workshop costs £175 per delegate when booked on an open course. Maximum number on open course is 10 delegates.
