Practical Project Management
Workshop description
This is a highly participative workshop over a full day, which will enable delegates to:
- Use and apply simple planning techniques
- Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of managing project risk
- Identify, analyse and manage stakeholders
- Develop simple project documentation that can be used to manage and report on project progress
Who will benefit?
- This workshop is suitable for all staff working on projects for the first time, or for an initial Team-Build for a newly built Project Management Team.
Delegates will learn how to:
- Define the scope of a project
- Define Team Responsibilities for the project
- Identify stakeholders and produce a communications plan
- Identify the difference between Risks and Issues, and deal with each effectively
- Plan the project, taking into account stages and milestones
- Close a project efficiently
Workshop Duration
This is a one-day workshop.
This workshop is based on the UK’s Association of Project Management (APM) methodology and the UK’s Office of Government Commerce Prince 2 methodology.
Workshop Cost
- This workshop costs £750 for an in house delivery with a maximum of 12 delegates
- This workshop costs £175 per delegate when booked on an open course. Maximum number on open course is 10 delegates.
