Workshop description

This two-day workshop builds on the skills, knowledge and experience of the first workshop. It takes a more in depth look at the tools and their applications.
The two days are built around a business simulation that takes the delegates from Inception through to Closure

Who will benefit?

  • This workshop is suitable for all staff who have attended the Level 1 workshop or who have a wider experience of working within projects.

Delegates will learn how to:

  • Define the scope of a project fully and engage all stakeholders
  • Identify stakeholders and produce a robust communications plan
  • Plan efficiently using Work Breakdown Structures and Network diagrams
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues on a daily basis using a RAG profile
  • Close a project efficiently
  • Plan more complex projects in detail with confidence
  • Understand the need to work and manage external suppliers efficiently
  • Identify and plan actions to manage risk
  • Implement robust change control procedures
  • Closing down a project
  • Understanding how Six Sigma and Project Management methodologies work together

Workshop Duration

This is a two-day workshop.

This workshop is based on the UK’s Association of Project Management (APM) methodology and the UK’s Office of Government Commerce Prince 2 methodology.

Workshop Cost

  • This workshop costs £1400 for an in house delivery with a maximum of 12 delegates for two days
  • This workshop costs £175 per delegate when booked on an open course. Maximum number on open course is 10 delegates.
